Blog Posts On Difficulties In Life

  1. Applying Heat To Our Lives (April 19, 2012)
There are many times in our life where we feel the heat of experiences that we go through.  It can be difficult and easy to lose site of how these experiences give us an opportunity to grow.  Sometimes the heat is needed to help melt away the things that we no longer need and yield within us, more than we could see.
  2. Crisis, Trauma And Loss Move Us Forward (May 14, 2012)
Often in difficult moments, we can keep trudging through the moment, asking questions from everyone but ourselves.  If we go within and seek the answers that we already have, we will find our way through the difficult moments of life.  At any time in our life, we can also go in and begin searching our deepest self to begin learning the lessons of life and coming to understand better who we really are.
  3. Difficult Moments Of Release In Life (January 11, 2012)
Oh how many times in our lives have we looked at difficult moments despising every part of it?  It is easy to look at our life as if we are broken and unfixable, rather than something that is evolving.  As you progress further in life and begin to see life for what it is, a funny thing  happens.  We look back and realize that what we just went through was most likely not as bad as what we thought it was.  It was a temporary thing that changed as we began to change and release.
  4. Do Not Disturb (June 5, 2012)
Sometimes when we go through those experiences in life, we just have to retreat.  There are times when I hang the do not disturb sign on the door and dare anyone that fails to heed its warning.  Sometimes I do this through vigorous yard work where I just keep myself busy and away from others.  Ultimately, it allows me to go within and find that moment of peace and serenity as I find the way to recharge my mind and body in the difficult moments of life.
  5. Don’t Give Up When There Are No Answers (May 10, 2012)
When we face things in life and there seems to be no answers, we just need to look further and deeper.  No matter how difficult the moments in life are, if we look hard enough we will find the answer.  We need not give up on life.  Even when the only answer you get is that there are no answers, keep turning over rocks and looking because the answers are there.
  6. Finding Freedom In Difficult Circumstances (March 26, 2012)
There are times that you see others going through difficulties in their life and you so badly want to take them out of the experiences they are going through.  However, some of the greatest help you can give them is to allow them to go through their journey in the way that they need to for their life.  Most do know what it is that they need to do, but often our fears and experiences of the past hold us from doing those things.  Being there for someone may likely include being the support for the person as they travel through their journey.  Sometimes in life, there is no greater sacrifice.
  7. It’s Always Darkest Before The Dawn (May 18, 2012)
One of my favorite songs that I would play when I was a kid in church was the song, “It’s Always Darkest Before The Dawn.”  To me, it symbolizes that no matter what storms may hit you and no matter what life throws at you, it is always the darkest, right before the dawn.  In times of difficulties in life, there is hope.  There is hope if we just keep going and looking for the dawn of a new day in our life.
  8. Letting Go When Life Unravels (January 28, 2012)
Sometimes when all seems to be falling apart in life, this can be a good thing.  In many ways, it is our time of clearing out that which no longer serves us and beginning to welcome in all that we need and is good for our life.  Yes, it may not feel that way during the process, but in all reality if you look back upon your life, you will most likely agree.  Even though it is difficult to understand in the moment, it truly is an opportunity.
  9. Take The First Step (June 13, 2012)
Dr. Wayne Dyer posted a nice picture and inspirational thought on his facebook page.  This post is in relation to what he posted.  Sometimes when difficult moments in life appear, we often struggle to take the first step.  It is usually difficult to know which step to take and so we remain frozen in the fear of inaction.  Instead of expecting ourselves to know every detail that lies before us, we need to focus on just taking a step.  One step leads to another and then another.
  10. We Have This One Moment (March 12, 2012)
Have you ever felt that it is so difficult to keep your eyes focused on the path you are on?  It is like we become worried about the past moments and the future moments, but we forget to focus on this one moment we have.  If we honor and celebrate this one moment that we have, the rest will unfold in its own way.  Trying to focus on too many moments takes us off of our path and sends us in a whirlwind of confusion.
